R. Kelly’s daughter prepares for stardom, meet Buku Abi

The daughter of the legendary R&B singer R. Kelly and dance maven Andrea Kelly; Joann Kelly is ready to take on the industry. Under the stage name & alias Buku Abi, the Chicago native has put together a mini docu-series to prep the public for her industry debut. The young artist is most notably known for her Instagram where she demonstrates her ecclectic taste in art, music & fashion.​​

In the short video titled “Who Is She”, Buku talks about her life and passions and even displays a few snippets of her upcoming music.The 20-year-old singer-songwriter recently told press, “It’s just the beginning. Over the past few years I’ve created a space for myself via social media and I feel it’s time for me to reach people on a bigger platform. I plan on releasing way more content in the near future, especially if people really rock with this one. I have so much in store. Having Instagram alone just isn’t enough anymore.”
